The Heritage Polo is 100% Peruvian Pima cotton piqué, 210 gsm, preshrunk.
Grown by farmers in northern Peru and picked by hand. Spun in Callao at a mill founded in 1945. Knit, cut and sewn at one factory in Arequipa.
The collar is cut from the body fabric, with no fused interlining. Corozo buttons, four-button placket, chest pocket. A woven tab at the hem, nothing on the chest. Made 240 at a time.

Peruvian Pima cotton piqué at 210 gsm, a true mid-weight with a defined structure. Pima has a longer fiber than commodity cotton: it pills less and softens with each wash instead of breaking down.
The collar holds its shape through wear and washing without a layer of plastic glued to the cotton. That's what the fused interlining in most polos is.
Produced in runs of 240. Fit and finish stay the same from one piece to the next.

If you're lean or athletic, take your usual polo size. If you carry more through the middle, prefer a relaxed fit, or you're between sizes, size up. If in doubt, size up.

100% Peruvian Pima Cotton
100% Peruvian Pima Cotton
Peruvian Pima cotton has a fiber length of 34 to 38mm. Regular cotton is around 25mm. That difference is why Pima resists pilling and gets softer every time you wash it. The shirt is preshrunk, so it holds its size too.
Pima's longer fibers can be spun thinner, creating a fabric with more natural air circulation than short-staple cotton. We knit ours in piqué, a honeycomb structure that adds even more airflow through the fabric.
